Hike The Raven Trail
About
the Trail: Part of the North Highland American Legion State Forest, the Raven Trail features a mix of intermediate
and expert loops that meander through woods and twist around Hemlock, Inkpot and Clear Lakes. The 1.5-mile nature loop, along
which the exhibit is presented, also has interpretive signs with interesting bits of information about that part of the forest.
Benches are provided throughout for those who wish to take their time and contemplate.
Directions:
(From Minocqua) Take Highway 51 North to County Road J. Take
J 1.7 miles to Woodruff Road; turn right, then Woodruff Road 2.0 miles to Raven Trailhead. Or take 47 south to Woodruff Road,
turn left and go about 0.7 miles to the trailhead.

Biking
the Three Eagle Trail
Let’s
get one more bike ride in before the warm weather ends. This trail is a 8 mile long, flat terrain, crushed gravel biking
trail that runs from Sundstein Rd (just south of Eagle River) to Three Lakes, WI. We’ll bike to Three Lakes, have
lunch at a local café, and then bike back to the trailhead. For more details regarding the trail and a trail map see:

Biking the Plum Lake Bike Trail
The Plum Lake Bike Trail is a paved bike trail about 6 miles in length, that runs along Co Hwy N between Sayner and Crystal
Lake Campground. Some people expressed an interest in biking in June, but were concerned about the distance or our ride. Hopefully
people will feel comfortable biking this shorter distance. We’ll bike to Sayner, have lunch at the Sayner
Pub, and then bike back to the Crystal Lake area.
Cost: Cost of your lunch only. No trail pass needed

Meet at 10:30 am at the junction of Hwy N and M just west of Crystal Lake Campground. There’s a small parking lot
at this junction where we can leave our cars at without having to pay the fee to get into the Crystal Lake Campground.

Biking the Crystal Lake Trail - Sayner/Boulder Junction, WI
The Crystal Lake biking trail is a paved, easy-terrain trail. We'll bike from Crystal Lake to
Boulder Junction, have lunch at a cafe in town and then bike back to Crystal Lake.
Total biking ~ 20 miles there and back. We'll be biking at a leisurely pace, so don't worry about
being able to keep up.

There's plenty of parking for your vehicle. If you don't have a WI State Park Annual Pass, a
